• What is your delivery and install area?
We service from Horseshoe Bay to Deep Cove! Our territory is Vancouver's North Shore.

• What if the event/Recipent's address is outside your delivery area?
Please visit www.signgypsies.com and enter the postal code of the intended event or delivery address. If there is a Sign Gypsy that services that area, you will be provided with the details. If a booking is made with Sign Gypsies Vancouver North Shore, and the delivery address is not in our territory, we will provide you with a 30-day credit so you can re-book another Greeting in our delivery area.

• Do I keep the sign?
Unfortunately, no. This is strictly a rental service. If you’ve seen a greeting in person, they are large and you’ll be happy we store these items and not you! You are paying for the service of having us custom design your Greeting, install it on site, and then remove it at the end of the rental period.

• Do you charge per letter?
No. We do have limits on our greetings, but mostly because of space (a full "Happy Birthday Julie" is about 30 feet wide!). We can fit more graphics into a display with shorter names or nick names versus longer names, but the possibilities are endless!

• How much in advance do I need to order?
Ideally, it is best to book your greeting in advance, so we can guarantee your delivery time and availability of greeting options! However, for last minute requests, we may be able help! Contact us and we can see what we can do.

• How long do I have the greeting? Rentals are about 20-24 hours. We install either in the morning, or early afternoon, and take down and pick up at approximately the same time the next day (or two days later if you add on an extra day!). An entire 24-hour rental is not guaranteed. It could be slightly longer or slightly shorter. We schedule our route based on efficiency.

• Do I need to be home when you arrive?
No one needs to be home and we do not ring the bell. We look for the most ideal location in your lawn for maximum visibility and we place it there. We may have to alter those plans due to tree roots, rocks, dense soil, wind or any other unexpected obstructions or issues experienced during installation.

• What if it rains? What if it snows?
Greetings are waterproof and can still be installed in the snow. Plan that your greeting will be installed unless conditions are too extreme. In Vancouver, “too extreme” tends to do with wind or atmospheric rivers. We reserve the right to cancel or pick up the greeting early without a partial or full refund if winds are excessive. Please check the forecast in the days leading up to your installation and contact us if you have any concerns. We don't want the signs to blow away! :)

• How do refunds work?
Plans change, we get it. Please cancel 48 hours in advance for a full refund. If we are unable to set up due to severe weather, you will get a full refund. If we have issues with installing after you have confirmed you have checked your lawn prior to payment, we will refund all but $25 plus tax for the effort we invested to assemble your Greeting, arrive at the lawn, and do our best to install it.

• My child has a unique name, do you have it in stock?
We assemble every greeting letter by letter so we can spell anything or any custom phrase. We just cannot install anything crass since it may be seen by children.

• Can I give this as a gift?
Yes! Greetings are a great gift and we can leave behind a door hanger that tells the recipient who ordered it (optional). Greetings are especially appreciated by adults and older folks who don’t want tangible gifts or are hard to shop for.
